NEWBORN PHOTOGRAPHY
Newborn sessions are all about capturing those tiny details exactly as they are - the little fingers, sleepy expressions and features that change so quickly in those first few weeks.
Sessions take place in my home studio in Newark, Nottinghamshire, with simple, neutral styling and plenty of time for feeding, cuddles and settling. Nothing is rushed, and everything is led by your baby, creating natural, timeless photographs of this very new stage.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Your gallery will be a mixture of beautifully simple portraits and all the tiny details you’ll want to remember. I’ll capture your baby on their own, as well as photographs with parents and siblings, so you come away with a complete record of this stage as a family.
There’s no need to worry about knowing how to pose or what to do in front of the camera - I’ll gently guide you throughout while keeping everything natural and comfortable.
Before your session, you’ll also receive all the information you need to prepare, including what to bring and what to wear, so you can arrive knowing everything is taken care of.
A £50 booking retainer is required to secure your session date. This is deducted from the price of your chosen collection - it is not an additional charge.
Following your session, you’ll receive a private proof gallery where you can choose your favourite images and select the collection you’d like to purchase.

My Process
1.book your session
Get in touch about my availability and secure your session with the booking fee. Newborn sessions are best booked during pregnancy, using your due date as a guide.
2.before your session
Once booked, you’ll receive everything you need to prepare for your session, including what to wear, what to bring and what to expect on the day.
3.your session
Your session will take place in my home studio in Fernwood, Newark. Newborn sessions are completely baby-led, with time for feeding, changing and settling whenever needed.
4.your gallery
Your fully edited gallery will be delivered online for you to view at home. You’ll choose your package and, where applicable, select your favourite images. Your chosen images will then be made available to download in high resolution.
